AH-1S MOD 0-15767
Located at Aviation Challenge, part of the US Space and Rocket Center, in Huntsville, AL this Bell AH-1S MOD, serial number 0-15767, was built as an AH-1G Cobra but was later upgraded to the same standard as the AH-1S PROD (Production). Features that easily identify an AH-1S MOD is the rounded canopy versus the flat glass canopy on a Cobra with TOW missiles, and upturned engine exhaust as part of the Anti-Strella missile mod.
